About Wedding Speech

Father’s speech

The brides father should be called upon by the best man to propose a toast to both the bride and the bridegroom. But before doing that, relatives and close friends ar to say a few simple words of the bride. Then the brides father will appreciate the bride in words and followed by the toast.

Bridegroom’s speech

The bridegroom will take the opportunity to thank their parents on the years they were brought up for the love and care, and also for the blessings they receive from them.
If there are members in the family or close friends that are unable to attend your wedding, you should mention them and wish them a speedy recovery. Lastly, appreciate those great helpers that have help you through the day for a job well done.

Best man’s speech

It is important that the best man’s speech to be light hearted and fun. It is suppose to be the most interesting part in the whole event with humour and stories to tell. Here is an example:

“I am honoured to be the best man. I like to thank John for his kind words.

John was born in the year of great human achievements, first man on the moon, the first concorde to be flown, and thus influence John to be an astronaut, though he did not make it due to no rockets in Singapore. And his hero, the six million dollar man. And so he became a pilot, not too far from being an astronaut.
John was a success in everything he did. But is he all such a goodie two shoes. During the younger days, John stole the car keys from his Dad and drove around the street, in the end he knock the car on to the neighbors gate. Yep, everyone of you in this ballroom would probably think that he is such an irresponsible kid, but that was just a BMX bicycle.”

Relaxing Wedding Day

The unfortunate part of getting married is that you will be pulled in many different directions on and leading up to the day. Not only will the planning seem to take up your free time, but family member may feel that they need to put in their two cents as well.

The combination can be torture.

But since you’ve gotten to the actual wedding day without major damage, why not have a little fun? For the women, have a little champagne at the salon when you get your hair done. Joke with your friends and laugh. This is supposed to be a joyous time. And really, anything that you would need to do at this point will be taken care of by someone else.

You just need to get dressed and to the church.

And for the men, why not spend the morning at the golf course with some of your groomsmen? This is the perfect time for you to kick back before you have to get ready. Since getting ready won’t be nearly as complicated as your soon-to-bride, why not sleep in too?

Other ideas to relax on your wedding day include joking (at non-serious times) a lot and smiling as much as you can. Funny enough, just the act of smiling triggers a reaction in your brain to relax. Seriously.
Passing the buck

A lot of letting you relax on your wedding day does come down to good planning. If you’ve delegated and thought of everything, there’s no need to worry and you can enjoy the moments as they come.

If something should go wrong (and honestly, something will), don’t worry too much about it. Your wedding party and family will want to make sure everything goes smoothly, so if something should happen, enlist one of them to take care of the problem.

This is your wedding day and you want to look happy in your pictures, rather than relieved. Take some time for yourself on the actual day. You can either step out of the room for a moment, or just sit down with a book for a few minutes. Find just five minutes of quiet, and you’re sure to have a relaxing wedding day.

Perfect Bridal Bling

Depending on your budget, there are many different types of bridal jewelry to choose from. Also, you may also be able to choose a certain type or style of jewelry that will work with whatever your theme or chosen style of wedding may be. For example, for a more laid back affair you may choose a classy set of pearl earrings with a single strand pearl necklace. For a formal, black-tie type of an affair, you may want to consider stunning diamonds or rhinestones to amplify your sparkle and shine.

Many brides today purchase their bridal jewelry custom-made. This is a fabulous way to not only match your wedding band, but also your personal style. There are several advantages to deciding to have custom jewelry made. One being that you, personally, will have total control over what is being made. Another positive aspect is the added heirloom value that custom-made jewelry can provide. It can be important to choose the right grouping of jewelry, not only so you will want to wear it time and again, but future family generations will want to as well.

Keeping that in mind, it’s time to make your selections. Choosing the right pieces of “bling-bling” doesn’t have to be such a daunting task. In fact, it can be fairly easy as long as you have reliable guidelines to follow.

First, narrow down some of the accessory competition by determining if you are planning a formal or casual affair. As there is quite a difference between a Cinderella-style ball and a casual setting at the beach, preliminary choices should be an easy decision. While there is no reason why you cannot wear fancy jewelry at a casual wedding, setting distinctions in your mind can help you a great deal in the long run.

Next, and this is a very important guideline, you will want to take the neckline of your gown into consideration. If you have a gown that has lots of beading and details around the neckline or up and over the straps, you may decide to skip the necklace and opt for a pair of gorgeous earrings. If you have a lower neckline, you will have a bit more play in choices of a necklace that you can easily pair up with simple earrings. One of the more popular necklace styles today has been the layering of three or more simple necklaces of different lengths to create a stunning and unique style.

Many times, brides have also been known to work the theme color of their event into their accessories as well. For a winter affair, adding a pretty, gothic-inspired necklace with ruby and rhinestone detailing can make for a breathtaking addition to your gown. It has also been very popular to work in a little “Something Blue” with the wedding jewels. Add a splash of blue topaz, apatite, iolite, aquamarine or luscious sapphire for a unique twist on an age-old tradition of “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue”.

Info of Black Titanium Rings

There are several different methods used to produce black titanium. One of the newest and most reliable is to alloy the gray titanium so that it becomes black permanently. The best way to do this is to blacken the titanium’s molecules, rather than just use a black coating. How deep and thorough the blackness is depends on the temperature and atmosphere when the molecules are colored. Titanium colored with this method will not chip, fade, or peel, and will remain biocompatible with human skin. It is important that shoppers find out how a ring is colored before buying it because some methods are not a reliable.

Black titanium rings can have other metal inlayed in its design. A black titanium ring with an inlay of white gold can be particularly stunning, but metals like platinum and yellow gold can also be used to great effect. Black titanium can be mixed with gray titanium to create a unique multicolored ring made purely of titanium. Black titanium rings can also have settings of diamonds or other precious stones.

Black titanium rings with inlays or settings can range in price from around $200 to over $1000. These rings can also be used as wedding or engagement rings for buyers looking for something unconventional yet beautiful.

Wedding Band

The Russian Wedding Band-Designed with three rings intertwined to form a single ring, the Russian wedding band adds thickness and texture to its appearance. With Russian wedding bands, you can diversify the rings with multi-color tones, adding a colorful touch to your wedding band.

The Claddagh Ring-Popular in Irish culture, the Claddagh ring is composed of three symbols; a heart, held by two hands, and topped with a crown. The heart represents love, the hands mark friendship and the crown denotes loyalty, three elements that symbolize a devoted commitment to each other.

Hawaiian Wedding Band-With a Hawaiian wedding band, your spouse’s name is embossed on the ring, commonly engraved in Old English font. You can opt for a more visible view with the name in black lettering or just keep it blended in with the band. What better design than having your spouse’s name engraved?

Symbolism of the wedding band
After discussing the several possibilities of distinctive bands, it’s important to shift emphasis on the symbolism of wedding bands. The wedding band represents a love that has no end. Despite global cultures that reflect their own unique décor to a band, the idea of a wedding band is universal.

Wedding Web Site Design

Plan

You should first make a plan for your wedding website and address your different goals and what kind of audience you are trying to reach. Will this be a typical wedding site, one designed for outdoor weddings only, different faith marriages, will you include rings, dresses, invitations, and other information? Will you simply write stories about weddings? You must come up with a cumulative plan, one you can certainly modify as you go along. The more detailed and in depth your plan, the better. You need to have a vision of your site before you start building and designing it and a plan is the starting point.

Evaluate

You should do some serious research on the Internet and check out as many wedding sites as possible. Make a checklist to go over while you are viewing each website that includes things like organization, colors, topics and themes, not to mention ease of navigation, URL formatting, speed, links, and other interesting information. By reviewing what works and what doesn’t work on other wedding websites, you will be able to avoid a lot of mistakes and mishaps of your own. Surfing the web is fast and easy and the perfect way to get some great design ideas as well as design inspiration. This part of your research will prove very successful for you.

Focus

Your wedding website should have a clear focus starting with the very first page. Of course, you can focus on any specific part of a wedding, every aspect, a mixture of aspects, or anything you want. Make sure your focus is clearly stated on the first page so visitors know what is available on your site, where to go, and what to expect. You don’t want to make visitors have to guess or try and figure out what your site is about. Make it easy for your visitors and tell them. When people know what to expect, they are more likely to stay on your site instead of clicking away.

Be a Good Listener of your Wife’s Heart

This is not an article about communication tools or how to communicate (read those too). My primary focus is to encourage you to understand and connect with your wife’s heart and not just what she intends to communicate; her heart is deeper than that. That is not to say that communication in and of itself cannot be intimate, but you can at times connect at the heart without needing the rules of healthy communication, or even a word.

Likely there are times that your wife will repeat herself. This is both an opportunity and a signal. If your wife is repeating herself, most likely she is signaling that she is not feeling “heard” or connected to you. This can be an opportunity once you recognize the signal because now you know you have probably missed it. You can clarify her intended message but her heart needs to be “held.” You may do this simply by holding her. An empathetic word or touch can go a long way. Of course there may be times when a hug is not appropriate. If she doesn’t want you to touch her, maybe she is angry with you, make extra efforts to empathize with her by listening respectfully. The expression on your face may say to her if you care or not.

Another way to “hear” your wife’s heart is to watch for it. When you first started dating, you may have made an effort to notice things she likes and dislikes. Do this again but in deeper ways. Get to know more fully what makes her happy, sad, what her dreams are, etc. When you know these things, never stop looking for them and use them to exhort and encourage her.

When she is upset after a phone call from her parents – “I know how devastating it is for you when your dad disregards you feelings. Do you want to talk about it?”

When she is screaming at you – “If I hadn’t had my mind so focused on work, I would have remembered how important it is for you that I remember the anniversary of your father’s death; I know it makes you feel important to me.”

When she won’t say a word to you – “I know when you won’t talk to me you are usually hurt. I would love to talk about it when you are ready.”

Don’t always wait for the difficult moments to engage her, engage her in the easy ones. It may seem too simple to start dating her again, but it isn’t. First, it will be difficult to date her again consistently. Second, it may not be complex, but it got you a wife the first time. Just like you hopefully do with your kids, look for connecting moments to share. Just as Mary Magdalene poured her precious perfumes over Jesus’ feet, treat her extravagantly. Extravagance is not about money, although some of you who may be scrooges will have to loosen up a bit; it is about time, affection, and serving. As you get moving, she will be on your mind more and it will be easier and more rewarding to continue. You will remember what you once knew about her and learn what you never knew.

Info of Cookie Wedding Favors

Today, sugary delights are an affordable option for wedding favors. Cookies allow for unique variations on traditional wedding favor preferences. A wide range of basic cookie recipes, combined with frosting options and inscriptions, can make cookies an exciting choice for a wedding favor.

Modern brides take great pride in putting a lot of thought into the choice of wedding favors, seeking to reflect her personality and a sentiment from the couple. The versatility of cookies, allows for this treat to duplicate roles serviced by other traditional wedding favors. Decorated cookies with the guest’s name written with piped icing, can serve the same purpose of wedding placecards that help guests seat themselves at reception tables. Unique edible centerpieces are designed by baking cookie dough on lollipop sticks. Heart or flower shaped cookie pops are decorated with frosting and sprinkles before being arrayed into delightful and original arrangements, by driving the stick into a block of florist’s foam or a decorated cake. Rose cookie bouquets are easily tinted to blend with the table décor. Wedding favor boxes intended to hold additional delights, can be created from gingerbread and appropriately decorated.

Gourmet cookie assortments are available in small gift boxes as a replacement for grocery store boxed cookies. Distinctive cookies can be bought in bulk and wrapped in specially selected wedding favor boxes. Popular bulk cookies include Danish shortbread, fortune cookies and Mexican wedding cookies. Fortune cookies, like other cookies can be decorated with frosting and sprinkles. If the couple wishes to personalize the fortunes in the cookie, there are companies who provide this service.

Custom cookies can be ordered from any local bakery or a baker featured online. Typically, custom cookies are shaped and frosted sugar cookies. The designs include traditional wedding themes of wedding cakes, wedding bells, bride and grooms, wedding dresses and floral bouquets. Cookies can feature a simple frosting or include delicate icing details. Cookies can be ordered to feature monograms or short messages. The more intricate or lavish the details, the more it will effect the final cost of the cookie. The average price of a gourmet cookie is around $5 each. Brides can easily provide this wedding favor for less expense, by taking time to make these favorite home baked creations.

Technological advances have created the means to transfer photos onto baked goods. Couples can elect to have their pictures added to basic shortbread cookies in the shapes of hearts, circles, squares and triangles for about $25 a dozen. Most bakeries have the means to make these creations, as the edible ink works on most ink jet printers and is applied to sheets of frosting. The bakery does use a dedicated printer that is free of any previous printing inks, so it’s recommended for a bride not to try this on her home system.
